Fellowship Finder is tool to help saints seeking fellowship simply around the Lord Jesus Christ to find like minded believers.
Fellowship Finder allows you to mark your approximate location on a map of the world. When you mark your location you also provide a brief public message about yourself. Once you have marked your position you can see the marked locations of all the other Fellowship Finder users around the world.
When you locate another believer you can send them a brief anonymous message from within Fellowship Finder.
Uses for Felllowship Finder include looking for others with which to fellowship around where you live, looking for other believers while on the road or preparing to move, and announcing that you are seeking fellowship to those that may be traveling to your area, and just for encouragement to see that the Lord is working in other places.
To use FellowshipFinder, you must have registered on the CTM site (at the registration page) and already be logged in (via the login page).
When you first access Fellowhship Finder, you are presented with a map of the world. Using your mouse and the map controls in the upper left of the map to zoom into your approximate location on the map. Once you get zoomed in an indication will appear indicating that you can place your marker on the map. Your marker will be yellow (
). When your marker is placed the program will ask you to enter a message that is used to introduce you to other Saint Finder users when they click on your marker. Your marker will stay at that location until you remove it. Each time you access Saint Finder it will start with the map centered on your marker.
Once your marker is placed all the other markers currently placed on the map will appear. The marker for other people will be red ( 
). If you zoom out on the map past a certain point the program clumps all the markers within an area into one green marker ( 
). Click on the marker to see the individual markers in that area.
Clicking on someone else's marker opens an information box that shows their introductory message and gives you a place to contact them. The information box has two tabs, one for their intro, and another to send them a message. Click on the 'Contact' tab, to send them a message.
The messaging system in Fellowship Finder is like a miniature email system. You may send a message and they may reply. When you access the CTM site you can go to the Fellowship Finder page to see messages you've received. Click on the message subject that is shown to see the entire message. If you click on the little marker icon next to the subject the program will zoom in on the marker of the person that sent the message. You may reply to or delete any message received or sent.
If you get a message that you feel is in appropriate you may report it to the administrators of the system using the 'report abuse' link above each message.
